The Art Factories Programme for 2008-2012 describes the objectives set, the approach adopted and the resources to be used by the City of Amsterdam’s Bureau Broedplaatsen and its partners over the next few years in their efforts to provide suitable, affordable accommodation for the so-called “base segment” of the industry – that is, professional artists and creative groups – in the Amsterdam region.
