The City of Amsterdam aims to realize an emission free city centre by 2025. However, new Diesel trucks were recently purchased for the collection of waste within the city, taking it further from its sustainability goals. In this video Group 9 of the MADE Metropolitan Challenges course examines the challenges that come with reaching sustainability goals for waste collection in the historical city center of Amsterdam.
