The CBS states that the number of homeless people has gone down in the last few years. However, organizations in Amsterdam that work with homeless people tell a different story. More and more people are reaching out for help. The reason for this difference is that in the calculation of the official number, only homeless people in need of care are included, whereas there is a group of economically homeless that is excluded.
