The Defining Characteristics of Urban Living Labs

This article provides an operationalized definition of living labs, which has ben used to assess 90 living labs in Amsterdam. The assessment shows that many living labs are called living labs without fitting the criteria. The criteria in this article provide more insight into what a living lab is and is not.
