Becoming a PhD-candidate at the City of Amsterdam
The City of Amsterdam has the ambition to be a modern, attractive and flexible organisation, where talent management and being a good employer are central themes. We regard our policy to support PhD-trajectories as a chance to facilitate research about themes that are important for our organisation and the city as a whole. In januari 2018, the City Management Team has agreed to the proposal from H&R and the Chief Science Officer to start with a maximum of four PhD-candidates each year, who can get dedicated time to research.
