Phase 3: Finding a (part of the) solution/innovation
Welcome to the final stage of our project! Throughout January, we focused on finalizing the project and developing an intervention that is most suited for the community needs. As one of our main results, we found that the community would benefit from more events to build connections to their peers and their cultural background. We have therefore developed an extensive action plan, in which we have integrated all our findings from the last months, and created a script for an event that the Hindustani & Queer community could start using immediately. We hope you enjoy!

Phase 2: Investigating the challenge further
In order to answer our question: "What sparks the Hindustani & Queer community joy?" We have conducted qualitative research in order to get a deeper understanding of the community. We have designed a survey and analyzed this together with our community partner. As a results, we have written the Investigation Results, in which we explain in depth what we have found and what our ideas are for the next Phase.

Phase 1: Engaging with the project
In Phase 1, we delved deeper into the problem's immigrant communities, and especially the Hindustani & Queer community face in the Netherlands. Being a minority within a minority, the community faces unique struggles and vulnerabilities. Moreover, we emerged ourselves in the Dutch and international policies that relates to their situation, and wrote an photo voice essay in which we visualize their community. All of this eventually led to our Challenge Proposal. We hope you enjoy reading it
