People with a migration background suffer more often from post-covid syndrome

In the Netherlands, people with a migration background more often suffer from the post-covid syndrome than Dutch people without a migration background. This is shown by research by Amsterdam UMC. For some groups, the percentage is up to 50% higher than for people without a migration background. Professor of Migration and Health at Amsterdam UMC Charles Agyemang warns that many people are 'suffering in silence'.
