Venice Architecture Biennale 2021

Dutch Pavilion Days

On September 24th 2021, during the Venice Architecture Biennale, the team of the Integral Design Method Public Space presented "BiodiverCITY_A Matter of Vital Soil!", the new publication by the City of Amsterdam on urban soil biodiversity.

The New Institute, commissioner of the Dutch Pavilion during the 17th International Architecture Exhibition (La Biennale di Venezia), presents Who is We?, the official Dutch contribution to the biennale. Who is We? addresses the underlying assumptions and ecological and social implications of architecture and urbanism. How does this agenda resonate within the practice of everyday policy-making and urbanism in the Netherlands and Venice? How do you implement the new values, perspectives, methodologies and languages needed to design inclusive, equitable and resilient cities? What are examples that work well?

Read more over the publication BiodiverCITY_A Matter of Vital Soil! (and watch the video) or order an hardcopy via nai010 uitgevers / publishers.
