Klimaatadaptatie Amsterdam: Onderzoeksrapport
Hoe verloopt het klimaatadaptatieproces binnen het Red&Blue-project in Amsterdam en welke barrières worden er door de stakeholders ondervonden in dit integratieproces?
The Red&Blue project appears to be experiencing difficulties in integrating climate measures to make Amsterdam climate-adaptive. In order to investigate the extent to which climate is taken into account in development and construction activities in Amsterdam, a stakeholder analysis was conducted. The aim of this research is to provide the Red&Blue project with insight into the progress of climate adaptation, with a specific focus on investigating the actual integration of climate adaptation measures in the policy implementation of different stakeholders. If it appears that this integration does not take place, this research attempts to find the reasons for this. To this end, three core concepts are highlighted in this research: climate adaptation, integration process and stakeholder perspectives. These three core concepts form the basis for understanding climate integration for a climate-adaptive Amsterdam in order to subsequently be able to answer the following research question: “ How does the climate adaptation process proceed within the Red&Blue project in Amsterdam and which barriers are experienced by stakeholders in this integration process?” Specific research was conducted on the Schinkelkwartier because this area is currently undergoing a greening transformation.
