Leonore van den Ende

Vrije Universiteit, Organisatiewetenschappen

Leonore van den Ende currently works at the Department of Organisation Science, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She is an anthropologist specialized in conducting qualitative-ethnographic research in (inter)organisational settings, analysing them as cultural systems imbued with rituals, symbols, artefacts, and stories that carry meaning and shape reality. She argues the field of organization studies would benefit from a more serious engagement with anthropological theories and methods to better understand processes of change, transition and transformation.
