Nature, what do you need?
Global warming has made us aware of the impact human activities have on nature. However, when we are seeking for solutions, we often forget to take a step back and ask the simple question ‘nature, what do you need?’. By asking this question we give nature the right to have a voice and only then will we know what she really needs. In the Netherlands, organizations such as the Embassy of the North Sea are already actively working on this. We can also look at other countries such as New Zealand, India and Bangladesh, where since a few years nature has been given the same rights as humans.
