Ode to urban nature

At Floriade 2022, Amsterdam and Almere will show what all those plans for more greenery look like in practice. In a pavilion with garden - The Voice of Urban Nature - you can see and experience how you can connect the city to nature. Marvel at smart green inventions, solutions and new techniques. Inspiring and practical, with nature as man's equal ally. All your senses are stimulated. In the pavilion we only use natural materials harvested here, such as bulrush lime, made from Amsterdam bulrush. Soon all on display at Floriade, from April 14, 2022.

The competition was won by Overtreders W, who will design the pavilion in collaboration with Kossmandejong, the Onkruidenier and garden designer Joost Emmerik.

The theme is elaborated with, among other things, a film, podcasts and inspiring examples about a new relationship between city and nature in Amsterdam and Almere.
