2024 DRSR Public Health Data Day

Being involved with the Rhythm Research since COVID 19, the Public Health Department of Amsterdam requested a 'thinking session' about novel approaches to work with data in the Public Health Department that derived from the DRSR research so far.
First Caroline Nevejan presented an overview of the research so far including the artistic research that was carried out. Then Scott Cunningham presented the concept of base rhythm as 'Urban Potential', using the case of working with sensus data in Scotland. This presentation was followed by Alessandro Bozzon, who asked attention for contested AI in public contexts. Then Achilleas Psillidis presented the Social Distancing Dashbooard after which Katya Letunovsky presented visualizations of space-time data to analyze urban dynamics. Then the different Public Health researchers and offcials engaged in conversations with the different presenters. The insights aim to inform policies for creating resilient, inclusive cities, enhancing public health, and improving overall urban planning.
