A week full of chaos, motorists and positive effects

This article, published in Het Parool, takes stock. Where the Weesperknip reaps the benefits, noise protests do not arise much further. They write: 'The Cat citizens are angry, very angry, says Gedi van Schriek (78). According to her, this goes deeper than the current nuisance. Years ago they protested extensively against an intervention that would increase traffic in the Kattenburgerstraat. That was in vain, but as a way of making amends, the street was redeveloped at the beginning of this year and a maximum speed of thirty kilometers per hour was introduced.'
