"Something big is about to happen in the historic downtown. The oldest part of the city, including the 'Red Light District', will be renamed the 'Green Light District'."
In the historic city center of Amsterdam, Green Light District is going to make houses, roofs and streets more sustainable. Together with their partners, including the Municipality of Amsterdam, and the residents of the old city centre, they are working on this transition and support initiatives that contribute to this. A sustainable and green transition in the old, densely populated and busy center of Amsterdam is a difficult task. That is precisely why this place was chosen. Because if the Red Light District can be transformed into the green heart of Amsterdam, it can be done anywhere!
