Maarten Schim van der Loeff

Maarten F. Schim van der Loeff is a public health physician and epidemiologist. He is a full professor in the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections at Amsterdam University Medical Center and the University of Amsterdam. His research is focused on the epidemiology of Human Papillomavirus and other sexually transmitted infections, and on pre-exposition prophylaxis to prevent HIV infections. He is currently supervising 10 PhD students.
