Nienke (Catharina Johanna) Alberts is a passionate epidemiologist in the field of infectious diseases and cancer with the aim to decrease inequalities in health. Amongst other projects, she works on Cancer RADAR (a project to map the cancer risk of infection-related and screening preventable cancers among individuals with a migration background in Europe), the HPV4M study (HPV vaccine effectiveness study in men who have sex with men), and she provides scientific support to the Working Group on Infections for the European Code Against Cancer (ECAC5).
