In the context of pandemic preparedness, antibiotic resistance will be investigated in different populations. For this, among other things, a Next-Generation Sequencing platform will be developed. This technique is new at the public health institute GGD Amsterdam and will help us to rapidly detect antibiotic resistance in upcoming infectious diseases.
