As a statistician, I describe data through the application of various modeling techniques. My research has focused in mostly the virological and clinical aspects of chronic viral infections, such as HIV and hepatitis B, C and D viruses. Other facets of my work include preventing these viral infections though biomedical and psychosocial interventions.
