Living Labs are experiments conducted "in the wild". That means that the experiments take place at the site of the challenge, not in a laboratory. That way, the experiment can directly show its effects.
This is the program for the fourth Urban Living Lab Summit. During this event, knowledge is shared in the form of presentations, workshops and tours aournd the research methodology of Living Labs. The event takes place on the 21st of July, 2022 in the AMS Institute building. You can attend the Summit both physically and online. Presentations will be held in English.

This is the opening of the Urban Living Lab Summit, by Leendert Verhoef. Verhoef is tasked to develop the Marineterrain as a Living Lab. He supports the Research & Valorization and Educational activities to implement co-creation and real-life experimentation.
In the opening he explores the idea of a living lab, how much it has evolved and how much it still has to evolve. The footage underneath was taken in the online environment. There is also some footage available from the live event. Unfortunately not all the footage of the live event is available due to file corruption.
In this keynote, Caroline Nevejan gives an explanation of the system of the current city and how it reacts to crises and transitions, stressing the importance of the Living Lab methodology and providing insights for working together in different disciplines to reach goals.
