Effect of Pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV and risk compensation and STI spread
1) To investigate whether there is evidence for risk compensation among partners of PrEP users. We will addres this question in 2 subtopics:
a) Does the sexual risk behavior of partners of PrEP users differ when having sex with partners on PrEP from partners not on PrEP?
b) Does the sexual risk behavior and STI incidence of partners of PrEP users change over the coming 2 years, with the introduction of PrEP in a cohort of MSM in Amsterdam?
2) To determine the proportion of gonorrhoea in the partners of PrEP users that are attributed to contact with PrEP users.
