SwS Festival 2024: VU Students Mental Wellbeing

Here you can find the report of the VU students focusing on the theme Mental Wellbeing, as discussed at the Science with Society Festival 2024.

This project aims to invite students to think of creative ways to bring the community
together in conversations about connecting and creating social bonding as a way to improve
mental health & wellbeing to understand how the community have a role in supporting
mental strength through fostering social connection. Students will work on applying design
thinking methodologies to propose an initiative that can be implemented in the community
to raise awareness about social connectedness. The challenge welcomes interdisciplinary
contributions from health sciences, language and communication, social sciences, education
and more which are valuable to understanding how these conversations can safely take place
in community spaces
