EIT Culture and Creativity

2022-2023 This project focuses on establishing a new European innovation network for the cultural sector and creative industries.

The aim of this network is to promote innovation in the sector to contribute to the green, social, and digital transition in Europe.

The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) will provide a total of 150 million euros over the next six years for this initiative. EIT Culture & Creativity aims to support the recovery of the arts and culture sector after the COVID-19 crisis and offers the creative industry opportunities to develop innovative solutions for societal challenges. This will be achieved through 10 programs across 5 different themes: Education, Creation, Innovation, Society, and Policy. Amsterdam will focus on the theme of society, with a special emphasis on inclusion, diversity, and equality.
