Sarphati Amsterdam Symposium

This symposium with several interesting talks on health disparities and social determinants of parenting in early life, will be kicked off by Simone Kukenheim, Deputy Mayor of the City of Amsterdam.

The programme will continue with five parallel sessions given by experts within Sarphati Amsterdam’s diverse working field.

The symposium wil be held on Friday February 14th, 2020 from 12:30 - 18:00h. The theme of the afternoon is:

- especially in urban environments - 

We will offer you a diverse programme with numerous possibilities for interaction and discussion with professionals from different fields. The programme will entail:

  • Presentations by renowned national and international speakers
  • Interactive sessions around various themes, including diversity, early childhood, mental health and lifestyle
  • Poster presentations of Sarphati Amsterdam research projects
