Ronald Kroeze

Ronald Kroeze is associate professor of history and director of studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research and teaching focus on the history of modern Europe, democracy, peace and conflict, anti/corruption, global good governance,(new public) management, "uses of the past" by businesses, colonial politics and oral history. Since 2019 he coordinates the research project ‘Colonial Normativity. Corruption and difference in colonial and postcolonial histories of empire and nations’ that is funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
