Bureau Social Return is als onderdeel van de ambtelijke organisatie van de gemeente Amsterdam al meer dan 10 jaar dé expert op het gebied van sociaal aanbesteden en social return.
STEDELIJK PROCES SOCIAL RETURN. In Amsterdam zijn wij verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en regie van het stedelijk proces Social Return. Social Return is een integraal onderdeel van het MVOI-beleid van de gemeente Amsterdam en is - in de context van unieke aanbestedingen - gericht op het stimuleren van:
1. Arbeidsparticipatie van kwetsbare groepen.
2. Sociaal inkopen bij erkende Amsterdamse sociale firma’s die sociaal werk en dagbesteding creëren.
3. De ondersteuning van maatschappelijke initiatieven in Amsterdamse buurten waar de kansenongelijkheid het grootst is (sinds medio 2023).
Als Bureau Social Return van de Gemeente Amsterdam zijn we naast een expertisecentrum op het gebied van inkoop en sociaal aanbesteden, ook een 'sociale makelaar'. Wij verbinden partijen die grote aanbestedingen 'winnen' aan sociale opgaven in Amsterdam. Daarbij hanteren we een breed palet aan mogelijkheden, omdat we de kracht, expertise en middelen van ondernemers en hun ondernemingen als uitgangspunt nemen. Bureau Social Return inspireert en stimuleert ondernemers om socialer en inclusiever te ondernemen. Wij werken daarbij nauw samen met het Werkgeversservicepunt Groot Amsterdam (WSP), Leerwerkbedrijf Pantar, de Sociaal Werkkoepel Amsterdam en andere maatschappelijke organisaties en bedrijven die mensen begeleiden richting werk of een beter bestaan.
Als netwerkorganisatie met een landelijk bereik adviseren wij op verzoek ook andere overheidsinstellingen, non-profitorganisaties en andere collega's die beleid ontwikkelen of actief zijn in het veld van sociaal inkopen, social return en inclusief ondernemen. Samen met opdrachtnemers en andere externe stakeholders denken wij graag mee bij het ontwikkelen van innovatieve maatschappelijke business cases.
ABOUT BUREAU SOCIAL RETURN AMSTERDAM
Bureau Social Return, as part of the municipal organization of the Amsterdam municipality, has been the expert in the field of social procurement and social return for over 10 years.
In Amsterdam, we are responsible for the organization and coordination of the urban Social Return process. Social Return is an integral part of the CSR policy of the Amsterdam municipality and, in the context of unique tenders, aims to stimulate:
1. Labor participation of vulnerable groups.
2. Social procurement from recognized Amsterdam social enterprises that create social work and day care.
3. Support for social initiatives in Amsterdam neighborhoods where inequality of opportunity is greatest (since mid-2023).
As the Bureau Social Return of the Amsterdam Municipality, we are not only an expertise center in procurement and social bidding, but also a 'social broker'. We connect parties that 'win' major tenders to social challenges in Amsterdam. In doing so, we employ a wide range of possibilities, taking the strength, expertise, and resources of entrepreneurs and their enterprises as our starting point. Bureau Social Return inspires and encourages entrepreneurs to be more socially and inclusively minded.
As a network organization with national reach, we also provide advice to other government institutions, non-profit organizations, and colleagues developing policies or active in the field of social procurement, social return, and inclusive entrepreneurship upon request. Together with contractors and other external stakeholders, we are happy to contribute to the development of innovative societal business cases.
