Societal Challenge 5 - Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials

Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 5 focuses on moving to a greener, more resource efficient and climate-resilient economy. To this aim, Societal Challenge 5 is supporting urban projects in several areas: circular economy, climate adaptation and air quality; urban regeneration; nature and culture –based solutions; urban planning and well-being, with more than 600 MIL EUR allocated to over 70 urban projects. In this collection you will find projects on nature-based solutions, sustainable cities, health and well-begin and urban generation, air quality, climate mitigation and adaptation and circular economy in cities.
