Refugees
Worldwide there are millions of refugees fleeing their homeland. Many of them live in Amsterdam.
The refugee issue shows us that we still have a lot to do to get things done. Despite the constant current events, we are not always prepared for a new flow of refugees. However, many steps have been taken in terms of involvement and responsibility. In the Netherlands, many organizations and research bureaus are active in this matter, such as the UAF for student refugees, the Netherlands Council for Refugees, the Verwey Jonker Institute, the Knowledge Platform for Integration and Society, the Advisory Committee for Immigration Affairs, the Social and Cultural Planning Office and the Refugee Foundation.
In this collection you will find a wide range of relevant research and interesting documents. Here you will also find all the research that has been discussed in the city council of Amsterdam.
