Mijn onderzoek gaat over de relatie tussen de homo-/lesbobeweging en de Nederlandse overheid. Naast onderzoeker ben ik programmamanager van het Amsterdam Research Center for Gender and Sexuality (ARC-GS) gebonden aan de UvA. In het verleden heb ik gedoceerd bij de afdelingen politicologie en sociologie over gender, seksualiteit, mannelijkheid, beleid, en sociale bewegingen. Ik heb gepubliceerd over de Nederlandse lhbt beweging, queer theorie, en intersekse bewegingen.
