Central to this are uniformity, integrated advice, professional business partnership, synergy, economies of scale and the learning organization. Improving service delivery, business partnership and informal dispute resolution are key focus areas in 2018. We can make an important contribution to increasing our clout as a municipality. Policies, interventions and working methods can always be improved and made more efficient. The SIS Directorate, for example, has implemented a single digital system for applications and processing subsidy applications for the entire city, and since October 2016 everyone has had online access to the municipal subsidy register, which lists all subsidies granted by the municipality. We are also hooking up with the digitization of the judiciary and, for example, making analyses of the backgrounds of citizens' complaints and objections, so that we as a municipality can continue to learn and improve municipal services.

Subsidies, Procurement and Legal Bureau Social Services. Where necessary, we provide support and are "linking pin" for cross-team issues. Our component has 9 teams in the areas of:

  • Procurement and contract management (leadbuyer Social);
  • Grants (urban grants office);
  • Social Return (urban);
  • Objections, Appeals, legal advice and complaints (social domain);
  • Advice on internal control (social domain)

Everything we do, we do together with other organizational units, internal and external (chain) partners.
