Amsterdam International Water Week 2023
The seventh edition of Amsterdam International Water Week takes place November 6-9!
Amsterdam International Water Week brings together water leaders worldwide and bridges the gap between today's challenges and future needs. This global community sees water as a means to accelerate resilient and sustainable developments. The central theme of AIWW2023 is 'Water in transition. Accelerate Action' and has four sub-themes: (1) Improving water quality, (2) Resilient water systems, (3) Circular solutions: Reuse, Restoration and Recycle, (4) Transitions in water, agro/food and energy.
This decade we focus on water as a starting point for the implementation of integrated solutions, which have a substantial impact on Sustainable Development Goals 2 (Zero Hunger), 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), 9 Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities) and 13 (Climate Action). In this collection you will find the program of AIWW2023 and a collection about the Sustainable Development Goals. Here you will also find more about water-related themes that are discussed in the Amsterdam city council, such as the water vision of Amsterdam 2040. And you can watch various programs and sessions from the AIWW2021!
