1. What information do we collect, and why?
When you visit the website:
- Your IP address
We use this information to analyze and improve the platform’s performance.
When you create and use an account:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile photo (if you choose to provide one)
- Position/Role
- Organization
We use this information to:
- display profile pages for researchers, government officials, and other stakeholders. The email address is not visible to external parties, but the name and profile photo are
- facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among users
- make networks around themes and projects visible
- improve the discoverability of knowledge
2. Do we share the data with others?
The platform is hosted by Driebit. They act as a “processor.” This means they provide the technical infrastructure but are only permitted to use your data to ensure the website functions properly and remains secure. They are therefore not allowed to use the data for their own purposes. We have established agreements with Driebit regarding privacy and security, ensuring that your data is in good hands there as well.
3. How long do we retain the data?
We retain IP addresses for six months.
We retain account data for as long as the account exists.
