Circular Economy
"Circular," like "sustainable," is a commonly used term. In this collection, the editors of openresearch provide an overview into the various ways in which circularity is addressed and contributes to a circular economy. This is an economic system in which the value of products and materials are retained for as long as possible and waste and resource use are minimized. Also, resources or products are kept in the economy at the end of their lifespan, in order to be reused multiple times and thus continue to be of value. In this collection you can read how the City of Amsterdam is giving substance to the government-wide program 'Nederland Circulair 2050', what tools (instruments) exist and are used that contribute to this objective.
