The Young Academy (KNAW)

The Young Academy (Jonge Akademie) is a dynamic and innovative platform of various disciplines with a vision on science and science. The Academy organizes inspiring activities for various target groups in the field of interdisciplinarity, science and science and society.

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) decided in 2005 to establish The Young Academy. The Academy works independently within the KNAW, has its own work plan and responsibility for its activities and positions. The Young Academy and the traditional KNAW mainly work together in the field of content and interdisciplinarity.
