Below you will find surveys and meetings about science business and collaboration in the city, (co-)initiated by the Chief Science Office of Amsterdam. The Chief Science Officer's important task is to give a more structured form to the cooperation between the municipality, the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region, the Amsterdam knowledge institutes and other institutions (such as Amsterdam Economic Board, AMS Institute and Sarphati), and to (further) develop a sustainable knowledge infrastructure in the city. The city as a complex system necessitates more research and connecting the different forms of knowledge. The Chief Science Officer is the central point for knowledge and research for the city and the knowledge institutions and provides solicited and unsolicited advice.
