We are faced with the important task of supporting people better than now in a good way that suits them. We do this by looking at the various systems in which people live and taking the right measures from that (systemic) perspective. For example, we provide a healthier environment, so that the healthy choice becomes the normal - and sometimes the only - choice. Where necessary, we also do justice to the (often stacked) problems of the individual. This requires taking action, building on the good steps already taken in the healthy environment and in the cooperation with partners such as Amsterdam Vital & Healthy. Within the municipality we also look at the problems and opportunities in context and take further supporting and framework-setting steps at the national level.
