Spatial climate adaptation method

The changing climate is leading more and more Amsterdam colleagues to ask how they can best take this into account in their projects. It creates major challenges in terms of keeping our city livable. Increasingly, climate change will make public space less pleasant to stay in. To ensure that public space can also be optimally used by people and animals in the future, this requires knowledge about the changing climate and an additional working method when designing public space.
This publication 'Spatial climate adaptation method' contains the most up-to-date knowledge about climate change and the measures to be applied for climate adaptation. This gives our colleagues the opportunity to design the city as climate-proof as possible. Knowledge about climate change and the measures to be applied is increasing. This is kept as up-to-date as possible in the 'Spatial climate adaptation method'.
