Circular earning models are a way to shape extended producer responsibility - extending producer responsibility for products. Currently, eight circular earning models can be distinguished. These earning models give producers a financial incentive to design circularly, increase the quality of their products and possibly take them back at the end of their useful life. However, a circular earning model does not yet make a circular product: building products will also have to change on a technical level
