Originally from Bangladesh, now living in Venice, she works as a socio-cultural mediator for the Bangladeshi community and several other organizations including the municipality of Venice. Her work brought her to collaborate with novelist Amitav Ghosh during his time in Venice for the writing of his latest work “Gun Island”.
