The Affordable Housing Game is an adaptive city-game developed by Play the City and ULI Europe. It is designed to start a dialogue amongst influential housing stakeholders for drawing scenarios in the housing sector, and will be adapted for Dublin, Amsterdam and Bordeaux.

Dublin was the first city to play the game. A large cross-section of stakeholders from local and national parties were present, including housing officials, housing providers, investors and non-profit organizations. There were two main questions the Affordable Housing Game focused on in Dublin: what are the most effective strategies for introducing affordable housing into Ireland? and what are particular collaborations between public and private parties to provide and sustain a long-term affordable housing market?
