Trust in transition

For the MSc Metropolitan Analysis, Design & Engineering ‘Living Lab’ course, 5 students explored how strengthening trust between the municipality and bridgebuilders could address underlying injustices in Amsterdam Zuidoost’s energy transition and render the process more just.

Through, among others, co-creation was used to develop a database in the form of a website that offers structured and accessible information on the current state of the energy transition in Zuidoost. In addition, a modifiable network map of key stakeholders was created.

This report presents the process and findings of the ‘Living Lab’ course in Amsterdam Zuidoost and reflects on the project’s replicability across different locations and transition domains.
