This project explored how citizen science could support undocumented migrants volunteering at Boerderij de Meent: a community farm offering food, safety, and belonging. While citizen science can benefit both researchers and the public, marginalized groups are often excluded. The team aimed to understand if and how undocumented migrants would like to participate in citizen science, particularly in improving their farm. They developed two guiding questions: (1) what knowledge the volunteers can and want to share, and (2) what support they would like from VU researchers.
