Life world drawings from children of Amsterdam Souteast (BIMS)
The participation of children in research and health care practices is widely acknowledged, however from my perspective as a youth healthcare nurse and action researcher too little with primary school children and young people. This collection of real life world drawings from children of Amsterdam Southeast (BIMS), illustrate their voices and the space we build together in order to learn together and induce change to make a difference. It is also a way of acknowledging the children that participated in the whole research process, giving back their work and celebrating their participation. The collection illuminates the journey we were fortunate enough to make together with children.
