The rural areas of Amsterdam and Weesp are relatively clean, according to opinions, measurements and reports on waste. In the inner city neighborhoods, specifically the Burgwallen, the picture is more negative. This is a development of recent years. This appears from the first edition of the Waste & Cleaning Monitor, published by O&S on behalf of Waste & Resources and Stadswerken.
